JOHNNY PARRY

Originally released in 2004, Johnny Parry’s first album was inspired by his time in Canada, utilising musicians he encountered along his journey to record the album.

Fusing classical inspired melodies with indie pop storytelling from the singer-songwriter tradition, Johnny Parry created a unique and special album. Each track delivers a unique vision, be it the haunting vocals which define “Brave and Good”, the use of reversed samples to create tension in “Buried in Leaves” or the delicate piano riff of “Little Prayer No 1.”; yet the album remains cohesive throughout.
