Johnny has just finished producing Duzzy Avocado’s debut EP, bringing a fresh twist to alternative country music from Bedford’s celebrated all-female quartet. The band features Anne-Marie Kirby, lead violinist of The Johnny Parry Chamber Orchestra, whose distinctive, haunting violin melodies add a rich emotional depth to the band’s sound. Anne-Marie has collaborated with Johnny throughout his career, lending her talents to various projects, including his own works. Their highly anticipated EP will be launched with a live performance at one of the UK’s most iconic independent venues, Bedford Esquires, on 25th October 2024. While the official release date is still to be confirmed, this concert promises to be an unmissable celebration of the band’s unique sound and rising momentum, following their stellar performance supporting Echobelly last year.
